Friendly Reservations ("the App"), developed and operated by William Bjorge, doing business as Friendly Reservations ("we," "us," or "our"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information.

1. **INFORMATION WE COLLECT**
The only personally identifiable information (PII) we collect is your email address. This is used solely for account access and identification within the App.

In addition to your email, we collect the following non-PII information:
- Nickname: Assigned by the admin for internal use within the App.
- Reservation Information: Details about bookings and site usage.
- Payment Information: Data manually entered by the admin for record-keeping purposes only.

2. **HOW WE COLLECT AND SHARE INFORMATION**
- Admins invite users by entering their email address into the App.
- Users log in using a special code shared by the admin.
- The admin assigns each user a nickname for internal identification.
- Information entered into a site by one member is accessible to all members of that site. However, only the admin can view users' email addresses.

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information with third parties. Information is only accessible to the admin and users within your shared site group.

3. **HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION**
We use the collected information solely for the following purposes:
- To manage site reservations and shared responsibilities.
- To facilitate user access and account identification.
- To maintain accurate records for group usage and site management.

4. **DATA ACCESSIBILITY AND IMMUTABILITY**
The App stores information using a system that functions like a permanent logbook. Once information is recorded, it cannot be changed or deleted. This ensures that all entries remain accurate and transparent, preserving a clear history of all actions. Any information you enter, including comments about payments or other notes, will be permanently stored and cannot be deleted. Please be mindful that once entered, this information becomes a permanent part of the site's record.

5. **DATA RETENTION AND DELETION**
- All information entered by users, including reservation and payment data, is stored until the last user leaves the site. At that point, all site-related information is automatically removed from the App.
- When an individual user leaves a site, their email address is immediately removed from the App but will remain in backup copies for 30 days before being permanently deleted.
- Backups of service data are retained for 30 days after deletion to ensure data recovery in case of technical issues. After 30 days, backups are permanently deleted.

6. **DATA SECURITY**
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

7. **USER RIGHTS**
As long as you are an active member of a site, you have the right to:
- Access all information associated with the site, including your own personal information, except for the email addresses of other users. Only the admin has access to view email addresses within the App.
- Remove your email address from sites you have joined by leaving the site through the app.
- Delete your account through the app. For security reasons, Friendly Reservations does not process account removal requests directly. Users must delete their accounts using the app's built-in functionality.

8. **INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS**
We use Firebase, a service provided by Google LLC, to host and operate our application. This may involve the transfer of personal data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including to the United States. To ensure adequate protection for such transfers, we rely on the Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, which are incorporated into Google's Data Processing and Security Terms. 9. **CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY**
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes. Continued use of the App signifies your acceptance of the updated policy.
